Office Fit-out

The Monday Charitable trust is a family run multi-million pound charity which supports young people in education and young people with chronic illnesses.

We were delighted to be awarded the Cat A fit-out contract from Hicks Baker, a firm of commercial property consultants. Cat A means that the building is in a raw state and as the main contractor, we are engaged to create a workspace that is ready to be occupied, in this instance, by their client, Siemens.

Ozone Interiors were awarded a Cat A fit-out for a building owned by our client, the Monday Charitable Trust. I was very impressed with their approach to the project. Communication was excellent throughout and the job was delivered in a thoroughly professional manner, efficiently, on time and on budget and without any hitch.

How we created the workspace

The 10,000 sq. ft building is located in Chippenham. It had been built 15 years ago and had not been touched since so there was a lot of work to do. It wasn’t served by mains gas, water and electricity so these all had to be connected. Once this had been done, all electrical and mechanical works including air conditioning and drainage could be fitted.

A raised floor system and ceiling was installed along with a partitioning system to form offices and meeting rooms. The toilets were then installed along with storage units. We were then able to finish the project with the installation of carpeted flooring and oak frames and doors. The project was completed on time and on budget within 8 weeks.
