The Little Gym is the world’s premiere enrichment and physical development centre for children. It began in the United States but has become a very popular franchise in the UK.
We were awarded the project to design and build The Little Gym for the Camberley in Surrey franchise. The building that had been sourced was new and had not been previously occupied. This was different to Ozone’s previous projects as rather than office space, our design team needed to create a space for children that would be fun, inspirational and of course, safe.
I have been extremely impressed with Ozone's approach to this project from the initial bid phase, through project management and onto completion. The team communicated, educated and delivered everything they initially promised on-time and within budget. The quality of their work has exceeded my expectations and allowed me to concentrate on launching my business with the knowledge that the build was under control. I cannot recommend them enough.

Creating A Safe Space
Before any work could begin, we had to install all electrical and mechanical systems. We used two thirds of the large rectangular space for the gym and soft play area. The rest of the area was used to create a parents seated viewing space, a reception, café and restrooms. Because of the lack of natural light, the lighting was carefully chosen to create a warm, yet airy feel. The use of glass partitions let the light flow through the different areas. Bright colours were selected for the furniture and gym equipment to keep it fun for the children.
